Thank you to our public visitor who sent this note On June 7th, 2021: Good afternoon!
Yesterday I took my first trip to Roosevelt Island and I somehow stumbled upon the amazing garden. One of the gates was unlocked and a sign said I should look at the flowers, so I did. I'm including some of the photos because it was such a pleasure to visit the garden.
Thank you, Jim Romanshek

From Julia --- Does anyone have pictures of our diverse gardens connecting in beautiful ways? Please send them to [email protected] to create an album we can call Community.
From Henry and Erika--circa 1992--These pictures were taken from the platform under the cottonwood tree shortly after our current RIGC site opened. Imagine the community service tasks of the day! Henry says they worked hard to dig out all the rocks in the soil.
From Don---Circa 1989--These pictures were taken at our second community garden site. This site is now currently the location behind the RI subway station and is currently filled with the Southtown/Riverwalk buildings and shops.
